The Haze

I mentioned earlier that there was a bit of a haze over KL at the moment.



This was taken at about half past three this afternoon, when it should be reasonably bright. You can probably make out a building just visible to the slight right of centre. See it?

It's a mile and a half away, and rather tall.

You can actually smell the smoke and ash in the air, even inside air conditioned office buildings. Everyone you talk to has a sore throat. This is largely down to open burning in Sumatra. But their government said sorry so that's ok, then.

The Ripple will not be going visiting if s/he arrives before the haze goes.
